What We Believe

Jesus Christ is the head of the Church of Christ

And hath put all things under his feet, and gave him to be the head over all things to the church, Which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all. - Ephesians 1:22-23

And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. - Colossians 1: 18

Christ is the Savior of the Body.

For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the savior of the body. - Ephesians 5:23

Christ is the foundation upon which the Church of Christ is built.

For other foundation can no man lay than that is laid, which is Jesus Christ. 1 Corinthians 3:11

Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; And
are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus
Christ himself being the chief corner stone; In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the
Lord: In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit. - Ephesians 2:19-22

Christ loved the church and gave himself for it.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; - Ephesians 5:25

Christ himself built the Church of Christ.

And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock | will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.
Matthew 16:18

The Church of Christ was purchased with the blood of Christ.

Take heed therefore unto yourselves, and to all the flock, over the which the Holy Ghost hath made you overseers, to feed the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood. Acts 20:28

The Church of Christ is God’s spiritual house.

But if I tarry long, that thou mayest know how thou oughtest to behave thyself the house of God, which is the church of the living God, the pillar and ground of the truth. - 1Timothy 3:15

The Church of Christ is the pillar and ground of the truth.

All the saved are in the Church of Christ.
